Hyderabad, Jan 28 : Hyderabad-based Samskruti Foundation has been awarded the prestigious Governor’s Award for its efforts in promoting cultural values and leadership through its College-level Cultural Leadership Centres and research initiatives on public policy and cultural linkages.
Dr. C. Umamaheswara Rao, Chairman of Samskruti Foundation, received the award from the Governor of Telangana, Jishnu Dev Varma. Established in 2009, Samskruti Foundation is a registered trust dedicated to preserving and promoting Indian culture and traditions.
With a vision to become a National Resource Centre for Culture, the Foundation’s mission emphasizes the preservation of Bharatiya culture through education, research, and dialogue. “By engaging intellectuals and running diverse programmes, we aim to inspire individuals to uphold Indian values and traditions. Our focus is on empowering youth through Cultural Leadership Centres and supporting intellectuals through Samskruti Adhyayana Kendram,” said Dr. Rao.
Samskruti Foundation’s initiatives seamlessly blend traditional values with modern societal needs. Its flagship programmes, such as Vivek Band, National Science Day, Samskruti Samvad, Tejaswini, and Rakhi for Soldiers, not only work to preserve Indian heritage but also instill a sense of responsibility and national pride among the younger generation.
