New Delhi, Jan 13 : Demonstrating a strong commitment to social responsibility, Prakash Group—known for its ventures in real estate, hospitality, and other sectors—has launched an inspiring initiative to uplift underprivileged rural women around Ranchi. Under the leadership of Mr. Binay Prakash, Founder and Managing Director of Hotel Le Lac, and Manager Sunil Tiwari, the group selected 100 determined yet economically disadvantaged women from nearby villages after a year-long assessment.
As part of this empowerment drive, the women were provided with high-quality cows, along with essential resources such as fodder, shelter, and seeds. Training workshops on modern cattle-rearing techniques were also conducted to equip them with the necessary skills.
This initiative has proven transformative, with the women now producing approximately 500 liters of milk daily. The milk is sold to Le Lac Hotel and local offices, securing a steady income stream for them. Additionally, they are utilizing cow dung to produce organic fertilizers and have future plans to create marketable products such as decorative items and havan cups, leveraging e-commerce platforms for broader reach.
The program’s success has led to improved financial stability and educational opportunities for their families. Prakash Group’s efforts align with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision for promoting women entrepreneurship and fostering a self-reliant India (Atmanirbhar Bharat).
This initiative not only empowers women but also sets a benchmark for corporate social responsibility, inspiring other organizations to contribute to community welfare and sustainable development.
