Los Angeles, Jan 13 : Global music icon Beyonce has extended her support to communities affected by the devastating wildfires in Los Angeles. According to Variety, her philanthropic organization, BeyGOOD, has committed $2.5 million to assist families and individuals impacted by the disaster.

The funds will benefit families in severely affected regions, including Altadena and Pasadena, helping them rebuild their lives. BeyGOOD’s initiative also aims to support churches and community centers to address urgent needs in other affected areas.

In addition to Beyonce’s efforts, major corporations have stepped up to aid the relief mission. The Walt Disney Company pledged $15 million, while Paramount and Fox Corp. contributed $1 million each to organizations like the American Red Cross and the Los Angeles Fire Department. Warner Music and the Blavatnik Foundation have also committed an initial $1 million to relief efforts.

Actor Jamie Lee Curtis joined the cause by donating $1 million from her Family Foundation. She shared her heartfelt commitment on Instagram, expressing gratitude for first responders and the community coming together during this crisis.
