Srinagar, Jan 6 : In a compassionate effort to uplift the lives of orphaned sisters, Smile Foundation NGO has announced a mass wedding ceremony for 50 underprivileged couples, particularly orphaned individuals. The event, scheduled for Sunday, January 5, 2025, in Srinagar, aims to provide these couples with the joy and dignity of marriage while fostering a spirit of community support and solidarity.

This initiative is not just a celebration of new beginnings for these couples but also a reflection of the Foundation’s commitment to giving back to the less fortunate. Beyond the wedding, Smile Foundation will extend its support by distributing winter clothing in Baramulla district in the coming days, ensuring that warmth and comfort reach even the remotest corners of the community during the harsh winter months.

Sajjad Ahmad Sholla, President of Smile Foundation NGO, expressed his vision for the initiative, stating, “We believe everyone deserves love and support, no matter their circumstances. This mass wedding is a celebration of hope, unity, and the promise of a brighter future for these couples.”
