Social Venture Partners India (SVP India) hosted the fifth edition of Fast Pitch 2026, bringing 10 grassroots nonprofits before a live audience to showcase their work and connect with donors, CSR leaders and philanthropists.
Held virtually on August 13, the two-hour event gave each finalist just five minutes to present its work, impact and vision. The participating organisations are working across areas including education, healthcare, livelihoods, women’s empowerment, disability inclusion, youth development and support for migrant and vulnerable communities.
Over the previous four editions, Fast Pitch has featured 46 nonprofits and helped catalyse more than ₹22.4 crore in philanthropic support, with over 9,600 people attending the virtual events.
This year’s jury included Ronnie Screwvala, Mahesh Yagnaraman and Geeta Goel, who evaluated presentations from the 10 finalist organisations.
From migrant children to tribal farmers
The finalists highlighted a diverse range of grassroots challenges. CareLeavers Inner Circle (CLiC) Forum, based in Pune, supports young people transitioning out of Child Care Institutions through housing, documentation, skilling, mentoring and employment assistance.
SAMAVESH Action For Impact Foundation works with migrant and first-generation learners in Maharashtra and Jharkhand. Its community-centre model has supported more than 3,000 students and helped families access over ₹7.6 crore in scholarships.
Other finalists included Deesha Education Foundation, focused on corneal care and eye banking; Lift For Upliftment, which provides free NEET coaching and residential support to students from low-income and tribal communities; and Neev Shikshan Sanstha, which works with teachers and Anganwadi workers to strengthen foundational literacy and numeracy.
Meanwhile, Karnataka-based Jaya Organic Yojana is helping smallholder, tribal and women farmers adopt regenerative agriculture while developing alternative rural livelihoods through activities such as beekeeping and crop diversification.
More than just a fundraising platform
SVP India’s Fast Pitch model goes beyond simply providing nonprofits with a fundraising stage. Finalists undergo due diligence, communication training, one-to-one coaching and institutional-strengthening support before presenting to the audience.
The remaining organisations included SPARSH, working with tribal communities in Gadchiroli; Sristi Foundation, focused on inclusion for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities; Vaishnavi Welfare and Charitable Trust, working on maternal and child anaemia; and Vardhishnu Social Research & Development Society, which creates learning opportunities for children affected by child labour, migration and educational exclusion.
With CSR professionals, foundations, family offices, business leaders and individual donors among its target audience, Fast Pitch 2026 highlights how grassroots organisations can connect directly with potential supporters while bringing attention to some of India’s most pressing social challenges.
