Jharkhand, Dec 01 : Under the chairmanship of Deputy Development Commissioner (DDC) Dileshwar Mahato, a review meeting on industry and CSR initiatives was held on Saturday, involving company representatives and administrative officials. During the meeting, the DDC reviewed various CSR projects and issued necessary directives.
The discussion focused on utilizing CSR funds for repairing residential schools, improving water supply in schools and Anganwadi centers, and enhancing healthcare services. The DDC directed Hindalco to collaborate with the PHED to identify natural water sources in all villages and hamlets and develop plans to connect them to ensure 100% access to drinking water.
Additionally, measures were proposed to fill vacant positions of doctors, ANMs, and GNMs in CSR-operated hospitals and improve water supply at Netarhat Hospital. The meeting also decided to construct ponds in mining areas for fish farming in collaboration with the fisheries department.
Key attendees included GM-DIC, Civil Surgeon, District Mining Officer, BDOs and COs of Ghaghra and Bishunpur, and Hindalco CSR managers.
Safety Equipment for Artisans of Ramjari
In a separate review meeting chaired by the DDC under the Chief Minister’s Small and Cottage Development Enterprises Board, directives were issued to forward applications for 2,207 artisans under the PM Vishwakarma Scheme. The DDC also instructed CSR funds to provide safety equipment to artisans in Basia’s Ramjari area.
The DDC emphasized the need for collaboration with banks to establish units under the PMFME scheme and directed the LDM and GM-DIC to organize an online meeting with district bankers to ensure approval letters are submitted. Several other key issues were discussed, and directives were issued for effective implementation.
