Dehradun, Nov 30 : Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami inaugurated 168 crib centres for the children of registered construction workers. At a program held at the CM’s Camp Office on Friday, he also distributed 60 CSR-funded computers to the Labor Department and Employees State Scheme Offices.

In addition, the Chief Minister flagged off a truck carrying tracksuits, shoes, and food items for 432 workers engaged in Kedarnath projects.

The CM stated that under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, the government is consistently working towards improving the welfare, living standards, and social status of workers.

Separately, CM Dhami approved Rs 66.12 crore for roads and bridge construction across multiple constituencies. Key projects include:
– Kaladhungi, Nainital : Rs 12.45 crore for canal works totaling 3.800 km.
– Lohaghat : Rs 3.46 crore for Kalsan Thantha-Banoli Sudarka Motorway improvement.
– Dehradun : Rs 10.86 crore for widening the Lambarpur-Langha Motorway and Rs 5.84 crore for a 55-meter extension bridge over Rispana River.
– Champawat : Rs 9.58 crore for Shiromani Chilkoti Motor Road and Rs 5.98 crore for Tanakpur internal roads.
– Rudrapur : Rs 2.2 crore for the Lake-Chamunda Temple road and Rs 2.82 crore for Rudrapur Block market roads.
– Dhanaulti : Rs 3.70 crore for Fidogi-Dhanaulti Motor Road improvement.
– Uttarkashi : Rs 2.19 crore for a girder bridge on Barotiwala-Ambari Road.

The CM also approved smaller projects like interlocking work and local road expansions in various districts, showcasing his commitment to infrastructure and community development across Uttarakhand.
